Janeth is attending nursing college.

Janeth grew up in the city of Morogoro before moving to Good Hope Orphanage and Primary School, where we first met her in 2012. She likes music, swimming, prayer, and reflection. She is a kind and caring person and always places others before herself.

We are very proud of Janeth for graduating from Sir Edmund Rice in 2020. She has worked very hard on her path to become a doctor, and we wish her luck in her first year of studies in college.

Aloisi plans to become an air force pilot.

Aloisi lived in the rural village of Karatu before moving to Good Hope Orphanage and Primary School, where we first met him in 2012. At the age of 11, Aloisi loved to play soccer with his younger brother, Gifty, who he has always looked out for.

We are very proud of Aloisi for completing his O Levels with honours, allowing him the opportunity to attend a specialized government school. He has worked hard in his pursuit of becoming an air force pilot, and we wish him luck in his A Levels.

Rachel wants to be an accountant.

Rachel is Masai and lived with her grandma before moving to Good Hope Orphanage and Primary School, where we first met her in 2012. At the age of 3, Rachel loved to play jump rope and help her aunties (the women who run the school and orphanage).

Rachel is the newest recipient of our sponsorship program, and we are proud of her for graduating from Good Hope Primary School in 2020. Entering Form 1 at Edmund Rice, she is excited to be back studying with her old friends from the orphanage. Rachel has a smile of pure gold and is often thought of as the Energizer Bunny because she is always on the go. We wish her the best of luck in her first year of secondary school.

Swaif wants to be a pilot.

Swaif lived in the rural village of Mererani before moving to Good Hope Orphanage and Primary School, where we first met him in 2012. At the age of 12, Swaif loved to play soccer with his friends after school, is a very talented athlete and still plays soccer today.

Swaif is one of our first two recipients of our sponsorship program and we are very proud that he will complete his A Levels at Northern Highlands Secondary School in July of this year.

Prisca is studying to become an accountant.

Prisca lived in a rural village called Mbuguni before she moved to Good Hope Orphanage and Primary School, where we first met her in 2012. At the age of 11, Prisca loved helping the aunties cook and playing with her friends.

We are very proud of Prisca for graduating from Sir Edmund Rice in 2020. She has worked very hard in her path to becoming an accountant, and we wish her luck in her first year of studies at college.

Mohamedi wants to be a teacher

Mohamedi lived in a rural village called Mbuguni before he moved to Good Hope Orphanage and Primary School, where we first met him in 2012. At the age of 11, Mohamedi was always playing soccer with his friends.

We are very proud of Mohamedi, who is entering Form 3 at Sir Edmund Rice. He has worked hard in his studies and is thankful to have his friend Living as a study partner in school.

Wilfred wants to be a tour guide.

Wilfred lived in the rural village of Kisongo before moving to Good Hope Orphanage and Primary School, where we first met him in 2012. At the age of 8, Wilfred loved to read and play soccer with his friends. His kind-hearted spirit is infectious, as is his curiosity and desire to learn.

We are very proud of Wilfred, who is entering Form 4 at Sir Edmund Rice. He has worked very hard in his studies on his path to enter the tourism industry.

Amiri wants to be an airforce pilot.

Amiri lived in the rural village of Mererani before moving to Good Hope Orphanage and Primary School, where we first met him in 2012. He loved to play soccer with his friends after school and is a talented athlete. Amiri is a very compassionate person with a smile that lights up any room.

Amiri is one of our first two recipients of our sponsorship program and we are very proud that he will complete his A Levels at Northern Highlands Secondary School in July of this year.

Gifty wants to be a police officer when he grows up.

Gifty is Aloisi’s younger brother. They lived in the rural village of Mererani before moving to Good Hope Orphanage and Primary School, where we first met him in 2012. Gifty loves to play soccer with his friends and entertain the other students by telling jokes. This social butterfly is in his last year of primary school at Good Hope. We wish him all the best in his last year of studies before entering secondary school in 2022.

Nusura wants to be a nurse

We met Nusura in 2012 in the village of Ngusero, where Good Hope Orphanage and Primary School is located. Her mom is one of the aunties who works at Good Hope and runs the kitchen at the school. At the age of nine, Nusura loved to play soccer with her friends at the orphanage. She always had a smile on her face and loved to help others.

We are very proud of Nurusa, who is in Form 4 at Sir Edmund Rice in 2020. She has worked very hard in her path to becoming a nurse and she hopes to attend the same college as Janeth in 2023.

Living wants to be an actor.

Living lived in the rural village of Mererani before moving to Good Hope Orphanage and Primary School, where we first met him in 2012. He loved joking around and putting smiles on his friends’ faces. We are very proud of Living, who is in Form 3 at Sir Edmund Rice in 2020, and wish him the best of luck this year.

In 2014 we launched the Dreaming For Kids Secondary School Sponsorship Program.
